Roman Emperor Denarius of SEVERUS ALEXANDER The obverse of this type depicts the laureate and draped bust of Severus Alexander facing right, with legends IMP.C.M.AVR.SEV.ALEXAND.AVG. The reverse features Alexander standing front, head left, sacrificing over tripod altar and holding scroll. The legends read P.M.TR.P.IIII.COS.P.P.
