                                Description

     This nice Sestertius Of Philip the Arab (AD 244-249) is the same
     type as one featured as a plate coin in Sear (Plate 8) and is
     referenced in Sear as No.2598. This is a coin that is hard to let
     go of, it will make a nice addition to ANY collection. It grades
     aXF/ VF+. It is on a nice, smooth-edge flan, it has an attractive
     brown patina, and has a very appealing, sharp portrait. The light
     specks visible on the scan are not on the coin. Some of the
     letters of the legends are softly struck and there is one very
     small dark spot of encrustion at 5:o'clock on reverse which is
     insignificant in the overall appearance of the coin. It is
     guaranteed authentic and as described. Buyer pays $2.50 shipping
     and insurance in the US. Money orders and checks accepted, but
     checks must clear prior to shipping, usually 10 days.
