  The reverse legend on this coin "peace established with Persia" makes reference to
  one of Philip's first acts as emperor - the peace treaty with the Sasanian king
  Shapur I. Also, the P M used in the obverse legend refers to 'Persicus Maximus' as
  opposed to 'Pontifex Maximus.'
