      Roman Empire.  Pescennius Niger.  193 -  194 AD.  Silver Denarius.  Antioch
      Mint. 17mm. (2.62g).  Obverse: IMP. CAES.  C. PESC. NIGER [IVST.  AVG., his
      laureate head rt. Reverse: SAECVLI FELICITAS, Crescent and seven stars. RSC
      63a. Nice VF with  some light porosity and  a small pit on  reverse. A well
      centered and  struck  example  with a  strong  portrait  of this  rival  to
      Septimius Severus. Niger's coins are amongst the rarities  within the Roman
      series and  this  handsome  example would  well  fit  into any  collection.
