Denarius from 9 March 69, Rome. (IMP) OTHO CAESAR AVG TR P Bare head to r. Rev PONT – MAX Ceres standing facing, holding two corn ears and cornucopia. 3,39 g. RIC -, (RIC 20 as aureus). BMC 9. C. 11. Extremely rare. Excellent portrait. Hairline scratch on rev. Good very fine-very fine.
Ex Ravel RIC notes that a denarius to the aureus (RIC 20) is in need of confirmation. The BMC specimen has turned out to be false.
