     This piece was minted in the name of Maximus, who served as
     Caesar under his father Maximinus I from 235-238 AD. 
bare headed and draped bust of Maximus facing right, with
legends C.IVL.VERVS.MAXIMVS.CAES. The reverse features
sacrificial implements, a knife, patera, jug, simpulum, and
sprinkler, with legends PIETAS.AVG.SC. 
nice VF, with bold devices and legends all
around, attractive surfaces, and a nice portrait of Maximus! RIC-6.
