Two countermarks: (1) dot within triangle within circle (before face); (2) countermark of six-pointed incuse star (on bust). Rev: NIN C CLAV . Colonist ploughing behind two oxen, in background vexillum. Ref: BMC 8; Howgego 669 & 451. Grade: good Fine, dark green patina. Countermarks fairly weak. Die Axis: 360°. Weight: 9.86 g. The triangular (D) countermark on this coin can hardly have served as a denominational mark as it was applied to coins ranging from 7 to 20 grams in weight and 23 to 33 millimeters in diameter.Both coins share the same obverse die.
