This beautiful denarius of Maximinus I has original mint luster
and is virtually as-struck! The reverse commemorates Maximinus'
victory over the Germans (VICTORIA GERM). RSC#107; RIC #23;
aBU/BU, with only the possibility of a slight touch of wear on
the high cheekbone to keep this from being a solid, problem-free
BU (a light strike or worn die perhaps?). Strong detail on
obverse and reverse!
