Very Choice Temple AE Follis of MAXENTIUS The obverse of this type depicts the laureate head of Maxentius facing right, with legends IMP.C.MAXENTIVS.P.F.AVG. The reverse features Roma seated left in a hexastyle temple, holding globe and sceptre, with legends CONSERVATORES.VRB.SVAE., and the mint/oficina mark R*T in the exergue. Coin grades a very choice Near EF, with bold devices and legends all around, a nicely detailed portrait, and even part of the original silvering still intact, with some mint lustre beneath! A very choice example of the scarcer coinage of Maxentius!
