  Rome, 1 January 174 AD. M ANTONINVS - AVG TR P XXVIII, laureate, 
  cuirassed bust right, seen from front, Medusa head on breast of 
  cuirass, fold of cloak on front shoulder / GERMANIA SVBACTA IMP VI 
  COS III, the emperor, in military dress and holding a spear, 
  standing left, crowning a trophy, while Victory, standing left, 
  places a shield on the trophy from the other side; at base of 
  trophy, two seated German captives, namely a woman on left, bowing 
  head in mourning, and a man on right, looking up at the trophy and 
  with hands tied behind back. Gnecchi 8, pl. 59.10 (Parma, same 
  dies). Cohen 214 var. (BM, 500 Fr.). Olive patina with bright green 
  highlights. Good very fine.
