M ANTONINVS - AVG TR P XXVIII, laureate, cuirassed bust right, seen from front, Medusa head on breast of cuirass, fold of cloak on front shoulder / GERMANIA SVBACTA IMP VI COS III, the emperor, in military dress and holding a spear, standing left, crowning a trophy, while Victory, standing left, places a shield on the trophy from the other side; at base of trophy, two seated German captives, namely a woman on left, bowing head in mourning, and a man on right, looking up at the trophy and with hands tied behind back.
