             Macrinus, 217-218 CE, silver denarius struck at the Rome
             mint, 18-19 mm. Obverse : IMP. C.M. OPEL. SEV. MACRINUS AUG.
             - laureate and cuirassed bust right. Reverse : FIDES MILITUM
             - Fides stg. front, head left, between 2 standards while
             holding two more standards in hands. Grade aEF. Scarce
             reverse type, even scarcer small bust type. Very light
             toning, choice surfaces that are not at all grainy as seen
             on scan. Ref. RSC 26 / RIC 68
