                                Description

     This silver Roman denar was minted under Macrinus. He ruled Rome
     between 217 and 218 A.D. This denar is listed in the Sear book
     under number 2049 for 140 English pounds. Obverse:
     IMP.C.M.OPEL.SEV.MACRINVS AVG. Reverse: AEQVITAS AVG. Equity
     standing l.

     This coin is guaranteed authentic, just like everything else we
