                    AE As of Lucius Verus, 161-169 A.D.
                           Fortuna Seated Reverse
                        aVF Details, Some Roughness

     Lucius Verus was co-emperor with Marcus Aurelius from 161 A.D.
     until his death in 169 A.D.

     Obverse: Laureate head right.
     IMP.CAES.L.AVREL.VERVS.AVG.

     Reverse: Fortuna seated left.
     FORT.RED.TR.POT.(?).S.C.; COS II in exergue.

     Grades aVF for details, with black toning and some surface
     roughness, as you can see in the image. Nice portrait of this
     lesser-known emperor. Diameter: c. 26 mm, about the size of the
     new U.S. golden dollar coin. Reference: Similar to RIC 1351, but
     with laureate head rather than bare head of Verus. Please let the
     image be your guide when bidding.
