     Lucilla, AE medallion, 37mm, (42.06g) LVCILLAE AVG A[NTONINI AVG
     F] Draped bust right, hair in small bun behind / No legend. Six
     Vestal virgins sacrificing in front of temple of Vesta. Gnecchi
     13, plate76, 9; Toynbee; Cohen 105. Fine, brown patina, fields
     smoothed, dig from removed corrosion behind head. Very rare.
     While medallions circulated infrequently, this piece was probably
     valued at two sestertii. More recently, collectors have valued
     medallions similarly to aureii.

     The famed Paduan medallist Cavino imitated this reverse on some
     of his famous fantasy medallions. Accompanied by an old Swiss or
     French ticket, perhaps Leu, valuing it at "2000".
