     Diva Julia Titi daughter of Titus. ,79-81 AD. Æ Sestertius (24.99
     gm). Struck under Domitian, 92-94 AD. Carpentum drawn right by
     two mules / Legend around large S C. RIC II 411; Cohen 472. VG,
     brown and tan patina. Very Rare!

     The only child of Titus, Julia was born about 65 AD and was
     granted the title of Augusta during her father's short reign
     (79-81 AD). After Titus' death, Julia's husband, her cousin
     Flavius Sabinus, served as Domitian's colleague in the consulship
     for 82 AD, but two years later he was executed on the emperor's
     orders. Thereafter, the widowed Julia, still only nineteen, began
     living with her uncle Domitian as his mistress. On her early
     death in 91 she was deified and Domitian issued sestertii
     commemorating "Diva Julia Augusta."
