                                Description

     This piece was minted in the name of Julia Titi, who was the
     daughter of Titus and Marcia Furnilla. Her uncle Domitian fell in
     love with her, and she lived for some time with him as his wife.
     The obverse of this type depicts the diademed and draped bust of
     Julia Titi facing right, with legends
     IVLIA.AVGVSTA.TITI.AVGVSTI.F. The reverse features Venus standing
     right, leaning on column, holding helmet and sceptre, with
     legends VENVS.AVGVST. Coin shows a reverse dig or flan flaw, but
     otherwise grades AF, with clear devices and most legends visible,
     at least in part. A very decent and affordable example of the
     rare coinage of Julia Titi, catalouged as RSC-14. All coins
     guaranteed genuine without limitations. Buyer pays
     postage/insurance, coin shipped on clearance of funds. PA
     residents please add appropriate sales tax. Visa/MC now accepted
