            JULIA DOMNA, Second wife of Septimius Severus, mother of Caracalla 
            and Geta. Died in AD 217 with Caracalla 
            As (Copper or brass, 9.93 grams, 24.08 mm) 
            Obverse: IVLIA PIA FELIX AVG, Her diademed draped bust to the right, 
            her hair arranged in a bun behind the head 
            Reverse: VESTA S.C, Four Vestals in front of round temple, two of 
            them sacrificing over altar, a child between two vestals at right 
            Reference: Sear 1881, Cohen 234 (12 Francs), RIC 607 (R2). Grade: 
            Very Fine 
            Comments: Very nice portrait and obverse. Clear reverse. Dark-green 
            patina. Large planchet. Well centered. Great eye appeal  Light 
            traces of cleaning. 
            As it is, a nice coin and a very scarce type!
