                                Description

     Hadrian (117-138), AE-Drachm, Alexandria, regnal year 15 Obverse:
     Greek legend, draped and cuirassed bust of Hadrian to the right
     Reverse: L - IE (=year 15), personification of Alexandria to the
     left, kissing hand of Hadrian standing in front of her Nice and
     interesting reverse depiction commemorating the emperorīs visit
     to Egypt, and showing the long tradition of kissing oneīs hand as
     a gesture of honour in cultural history
