             Hadrian, 117-138 CE, silver denarius, 17-18 mm. Obverse :
             HADRIANUS AUG. COS. III P.P. - laureate head right. Reverse
             : RESTITUTORI AFRICAE - Hadrian stg. left raising Africa
             wearing elephant headress kneeling right, holding corn ears,
             two corn ears on ground between. Grade aVF/gF. Light toning,
             great portrait, clear detail. A scarce denarius - part of
             the famous 'travel series'. Ref. RSC 1223 (scarce)
