                                Description

     This piece was minted during the reign of Hadrian, who ruled from
     117-138 AD. Hadrian is famed as the emperor who built Hadrian's
     Wall, the massive fortification erected across the northernmost
     British frontier of the empire to defend against marauding Scots
     and Picts. He is also known for his extensive travels throughout
     the empire. The obverse of this type depicts the laureate head of
     Hadrian facing right, with legends HADRIANVS.AVG.COS.III.P.P. The
     reverse features Victory standing right, holding branch, with
     legends VICTORIA.AVG. Coin grades a nice VF, with bold devices
     and legends all around, and even a bit of the original mint
     lustre still evident. A choice example of the type, catalouged as
     RSC-1454. All coins guaranteed genuine without limitations. Buyer
