      Roman Empire.  Hadrian. 117  - 138  AD. Silver  Denarius. Rome Mint.  18mm.
      (3.54g). Obverse: IMP. CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG, his laureate and draped
      bust rt. Reverse: P.M.  TR.P. COS. III, Salus seated lt.,  holding a patera
      out to a  serpent which rises  from an  altar before her,  SAL. AVG in  ex.
      Handsome VF++ with  a very strong portrait  in fine style. A  great earlier
      example of this fine emperor who imortalized himself by building the famous
      'Hadrian's Wall' in England.
