The reverse portrait is unidentified, but is probably Aratos, a poet from Soloi (Pompeiopolis) of the 3rd century BC. His most famous works are verse renditions of the treatises of the astronomer Eudoxos. Although technically inaccurate, his poems were highly regarded by the Greeks and Romans.
