 Aphrodite standing in pose of 'Pudica', vase standing r.

Aphrodite as 'Pudica' standing in the pose of the Capitoline Venus (Pat Lawrence).

Deultum was founded by veterans of Vespasian's leg. VIII Augusta before AD 77 
 as Colonia Flavia Pacis Deultensia.
