                                Description

     This is a high grade, good silver Antoninianus of Gordian III
     (238-244) that is attributed as Sear 2460 (C319,RIC216). The
     obverse shows radiate bust right with the legend: IMP GORDIANUS
     PIUS FEL AUG The reverse depicts Gordian standing right holding
     spear and globe with the legend: SAECULI FELICITAS Bidding starts
     at $10 and there is no reserve. Personal checks OK but must
     clear. Winning bidder adds $2 S&H.
