            Gordian III. (238-244 AD). Silver antoninianus (5.23 gm). Antioch, 
            ca. 239 AD. IMP CAES M ANT GORDIANVS AVG, bust radiate, draped, 
            cuirassed right / VICTORIA AVG, Victory standing right in biga of 
            horses rearing right; she seems to hold the reins in both hands. 
            Bland 62. Not in RIC or Cohen. Very rare: Bland knew only two 
            specimens of this type, in Berlin and in Oxford ex D.R. Walker 
            Collection, the latter being from the same reverse die as our coin. 
            Broad, heavy flan. Double struck on reverse. Extremely fine.
