AVG, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gordian III 
right. Rev. IOVIS STATOR, Jupiter standing facing, head 
right, resting on scepter and holding thunderbolt. Note this 
is rev. type STATOR not STATORI more rare variant than the 
STATORI aureus. Reference: RIC 100 (citing specimen in Evans
