     Lot Description:

     Roman Empire

     Geta, as Ceasar 198-209 AD, struck 199-202 AD
     AR Denarius
     XF, lustrous, well struck, well centered. A very attractive
     example of the young Geta.

     Sear (4th ed) 2014

     Obverse: P SEPT GETA CAES PONT, Bust right
     Reverse: NOBIITAS, Nobilitas standing towards the right, holdiong
     sceptre and palladium.

     Geta was the younger son of Septimus Severus, he was murdered in
     212 AD due to his brother's (Caracalla) jealousy.
