Obverse : [no legend as issued] - two crossed cornucopiae surmounted by the heads of Drusus' children, winged caduceus between. Reverse : DRUSUS CAESAR TI. AUG. F. DIVI AUG. N. PO(NT. TR. P)OT. II around large S.C. Grade gF. Choice green patina with some dark brass showing through with good surfaces. Large pit on reverse is partially filled with old (stable) green and red patina. Very nice detail, clear portraits and near complete legend. Nice, and very hard to find. This is only the second I've ever handled and the best of the two. It would fit quite nicely into my collection - but - it was bought with 'company funds' so it must be sold. Ref. RIC 42 (erroneously indicated as scarce) ; SR 587.
