According to Andreas Alföldi, The Victories of the Emperor Gallienus 
and of the Loyalty of his Legions, in: The Numismatic Chronicle 
Reprint Series, New York 1977, pp. 30-32, the 8th Victory of 
Gallienus means the triumph over Macrianus and Quietus in the summer 
of 261 AD.
