Very fine This bronze displays the only surviving portrait of Antoninus Pius' son Galerius Antoninus, who died before Pius came to power and whose epitaph from Hadrian's Mausoleum has come down to us (CIL VI 989). The fine style of this provincial issue suggests that the dies used must have been cut by engravers of the mint of Rome. Estimated Value: $ 4,000 ...Lot was unsold.
