VIRTVS RO-MANORVM, Roma seated facing on throne, head left, holding globe and reversed spear. AQPS in ex. 

RIC IX Aquileia 54b, rated R3	

VF+/EF, except some field damage on obv. 
esp. around legends (which are nevertheless complete);
tiny amount likewise at extreme edges of rev. Charming
little portrait, superb depiction of Roma.

Flavius Victor was the son of Magnus Maximus, 
usurper in Britain and legendary ancestor of 
King Arthur. They managed to extend their territory 
as far as and even into Italy, but were eventually
captured and executed by Theodosius I and his general
Arbogastes.
