Draped bust right. Rev. Artemis (Diana) running right, holding bow and reaching for arrow in her quiver, dog at her feet. The coin is dark green with full legends. The portrait is fairly nice, with some detail in the face and hair. The reverse image is clear, including the dog and clothing blowing out behind Artemis. Faustina Junior bore Marcus Aurelius many children, and although most died in infancy, unfortunately not the cruel future emperor Commodus. Faustina died at the foot of the Taurus Mountains while journeying with her husband.
