                        Orichalcum sestertius (28.06 gm). Rome. FAVSTINA 
                        AVGVSTA, draped bust right, double band of pearls in 
                        hair / FECVNDITAS S C, Fecunditas standing right, 
                        holding scepter and nude male child. BMCRE 905. Cohen 
                        100. RIC 1638. Green patina. Extremely fine 

                        This type may allude to the birth of the last of 
                        Faustina II's many children ca. AD 163 (see the 
                        discussion by Hugh Preston in Celator, October 1999, pp. 
                        40-41).
