FLAN> Faustina Jr. denarius - lovely portrait Flavian Logic Ancient Numismatics

Faustina Jr., died 175 CE, silver denarius, 17-18 mm.
Obverse : FAUSTINAE AUG. PII AUG. FIL. - draped bust right
with single circlet of pearls. Reverse : VENUS - Venus stg.
right holding apple and rudder on which is entwined a
dolphin. Grade VF for wear. Nice detail with a young
portrait. This coin has been cleaned with lemon juice,
distilled water and a cotton swab - turned out well. Ref.
