Faustina Senior, the wife of
 Antoninus Pius, who died in 141 AD, and was honored with an
 extensive series of commemorative coinage. The obverse of this
 piece depicts the draped bust of Faustina facing right, with
 legDIVA.FAVSTINA. The reverse features Ceres standing left,
 holding corn ears and torch, with legAVGVSTA.SC. Coin grades
 a nice F+, with most legand devices clear, and a nice
 portrait. A nice example of this memorial type bronze, Sear 1361.
