Faustina Senior, the wife of Antoninus Pius, who died in 141 AD, and was honored with an extensive series of commemorative coinage. The obverse of this piece depicts the draped bust of Faustina facing right, with legDIVA.FAVSTINA. The reverse features Aeternitas or Providentia or Urania standing front, head left, veil blown out around it, left hand on veil. The legend reads AETERNITAS. Coin is a little off center on the obverse, but otherwise grades Good VF, with bold devices and legall around, and even a bit of the original mint lustre still evident. A very nice example of the type, RSC-32.
