Elpis advancing left, holding flower and raising drapery of dress. In field ETO YS IG P . Ref: Ziegler (1993) 84 (5 pcs.); Sear 857v; BMC 8. Grade: Fine, thick medium green patina. Die Axis: 360°. Weight: 11.60 g. The letters IGP on the reverse indicate that the coin was struck in the year 113 of the era of Anazarbus, i.e. AD 94/95. During the reign of Domitian, coins were struck only in 112 and 113 (AD 93/94 & 94/95), but in no less than six different denominations.
