                                Description

     DOMITIA and DOMITIAN. Colonial AE (21-24 mm) struck at Smyrna
     (Ionie) beetween 88 and 96 AD. heads face to face of DOMITIA and
     DOMITIAN / Herakles standing left, with lion skin and club. RPC
     (Roman Provincial Coinage) n#1022. VERY FINE, nice portraits,
     relief, light patina. Not listed in SEAR Roman Coins. For value
     of coinage with DOMITIA, you can see SEAR Roman Coins 1988 n#928
     to 934A. In a lot of the coinage of DOMITIAN and his wife
     DOMITIA, the head of DOMITIAN has been erased because of the
     Damnatio Memoria proclaimed against him after his death. If I'm a
