                                Description

     Domitian 81-96 AD Denarius Struck under Vespasian while Domitian
     was Caesar. Sear 873 reverse bears wolf and twins with a boat in
     exergue. Struck 77-78 AD. Domitian was the son of Valerian and
     was appointed to Augustus after the death of Titus. He met harsh
     opposition in the Senate, and thus was faced with numerous plots
     and conspiraces. The last years of his reign were full of terror
     and oppression, because Domitian reacted violently. Eventually he
     was murdered as result of a palace plot. Buyer pays $3.00 postage
