Obv: DIOCLETI-ANVS AVG, laureate head right Rev: VICTORIAE-SARMATICAE (unlisted legend), the four tetrarchs, Maximian, Diocletian, Constantius and Galerius, sacrificing over tripod before archway in a seven-turreted enclosure; HE in ex. RIC VI, 2 var. RIC only lists the short legend VICTORIA SARMAT for Diocletian's coins of the period in which officina E was used. One other example of this type is known.
