            Crispus, AD 317-326. An 18mm bronze attributed as RIC VII:372
            Trier.

            Obverse: Laureate, cuirassed bust left holding shield and
            spear over right shoulder. Legend is IVL CRISPVS NOB CAES.

            Reverse: Globe on altar inscribed VO / TIS / XX, 3 stars
            above. Legend is BEATA TRANQVILLITAS with pellet STR pellet
            in exergue.

            Condition: The coin is in gVF condition. Note that the shield
            has a captive seated beneath trophy engraved on it, see
            footnote to RIC 372.
