Rx: PROVIDENTIAE AVGG Camp gate with two turrets, pellet in gateway, star above, dots in top row of blocks, SMANTH in exergue. Rare. Of the six officinae recorded for the type in RIC, two are r5, three r4, and one r3. RIC footnotes record the numbers of layers of blocks in the camp gate of this type at Antioch, but make no mention of the appearance of dots in the upper row of blocks as on our coin.
