      Extremely rare. [See color plate 11] ($10,000) During the early part of 
      his reign, Constantine not only had to contend with the internal power 
      struggles of Roman imperial politics, but was also constantly occupied in 
      campaigns against the Franks and Alemanni. This coin records victories 
      against the latter group. According to Depeyrot, this type could have been 
      issued as late as 315 or slightly afterwards.
