C]LAVDIVS CAESAR AVG. . . . Laureate head right, retrograde DV countermark
on neck, notch at 2:00. / SP. . . Spes standing left, SC in exergue. cf.
RIC115. F / G, green patina.

Lightweight barbaric sestertii of Claudius were revalued in the Balkans, as
dupondii with a notch at 3:00 and a DV countermark.
