Claudius, AR denarius, (3.21g) Rome Mint, TI CLAVD CAESAR AVG P M TR P VI
IMP XI Laureate head right. / PACI AVGVSTAE Pax-Nemesis standing right,
holding caduceus above serpent. RIC39; BMC40. Toned VF, decent style, some
obverse legend weakness, and an edge irregularity at 6:00 on obverse.

See Sutherland, C.H.V., "Roman Coins" (1974): "Pax-Nemesis - a complex and
subtle piece of symbolism that would convey to the empire at large the
basic ideas of Pax, Victoria, Salus and Moderatio. Claudius claimed
