This 33mm bronze has a nasty looking, brutish imperial portrait on the obverse and an elephant on the reverse. It's definitely Tarsus, and it's probably Caracalla, but it was corroded, and cleaned, and the obverse legend defied my efforts. If you can nail it to Caracalla (or anyone for that matter), you've really got something. And if you can't you've still got an ancient coin from Tarsus with an elephant.
