PAVTALI / AC Three nude charites stg. twined; the first stg. half-left, holding in r. hand jar, from whitch water flows; the second seen from behind, clothed only below buttocks (crescent?), holding hands on shoulder of her sisters; the third stg. half-right, holding in lowered left hand jar, from which water flows. Ruzicka 503, pl. III, 13 (1 ex. in Sarajewo) very rare, about VF, green patina Pautalia was a famous bath full of parks with temples and statues. It is well known that especially the die-cutters of Pautalia preferred statues for their coin reverses. So this reverse has probably a group of statues as paradigm.
