Assigned to the mint of Rome by RIC and Göbl, and to Siscia by Calicó, but actually of Milan according to Estiot in the Paris catalogue and M. Weder's review of Göbl in Num. Chronicle 154, 1994. This coin bears an exquisite portrait of the emperor struck in high relief for the issue. All of these coins of Aurelian are from a find that seems to have been immersed in sea water.
