Nearly very fine. Ex Munzhandlung Basel 3, 4-5 March 1935, Prince W[aldeck], lot 138. This rare obverse type of Victory setting the laurel wreath on Augustus’ head occurs only on a few of the middle bronzes of the three moneyers assigned to 7 BC. The medallic or presentational character of the coins with this type is demonstrated by the very large and heavy flans of most of the specimens. H. Willers, (Geschichte der rom.
