The reign of Antoninus is a virtual blank in the history books, owing to the stability and prosperity that Rome enjoyed during these years. He was the personification of Rome's golden age, which reached its zenith under his rule. The obverse of this type depicts the laureate head of Antoninus facing right, with legends ANTONINVS.AVG.PIVS.P.P.IMP.II. The reverse type features Annona standing right, foot on prow, holding rudder and modius filled with corn ears. The legends read TR.POT.XXI.COS.IIII. Coin shows some lite granularity, but otherwise grades VF, with clear to bold devices and legends all around, and a nice portrait. A pleasing example of the type, catalouged as RSC-1039. All coins guaranteed genuine without restrictions. Member ANA, PAN. Buyer pays postage/insurance, coin shipped on clearance of funds. PA residents please add appropriate sales tax. MC/Visa accepted for orders of $20 or more. Thanks! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [Image] Bidding If you're the seller or the high bidder - now what? 1. Contact each other. The seller (praetorian) and the high bidder (ohbiwan) should contact each other within three business days to discuss payment and shipping details. If the seller is unable to establish contact with the high bidder within 3 business days, the seller may contact the next highest bidder. Therefore, if the high bidder does not contact the seller within 3 business days of the end of the auction, he/she may lose the place as winning bidder, and be at risk for receiving negative feedback and/or a Non-Paying Bidder warning, both of which can ultimately lead to suspension from eBay.
